My Mother's first dachshund was a Miniature Smooth Bought in 1963, he was of Merryweather Breeding.

We acquired our first Standard Smooth in 1979 bred by Mrs Margaret Turner of the Marictur Kennels, Marictur Black Measzo "Duncan" bought soley as a pet.  Later that year our old Miniature died and we then acquired Duncan's litter brother Marictur Black Mahler.  He had been retained by Margaret to be shown but had a fright as a puppy and was rather nervous so he came to us as a pet.

We first started showing in 1980 at local shows and then at Championship Shows properly in 1981.  We was then bitter by the show buy and as they say the rest is history.

To date we have made up ?? Standard Smooth Haired Dachshunds  and ??? Miniature Smooth Haired Dachshunds.

Our first litter was bred in 1999 and only 4 litters have been bred to date.

In 2002 we made up our first home bred Champion - Ch Carpaccio Diamond Eclipse.

We have also had the pleasure of winning group placings with our dogs in the UK and Ireland.
